The Transportation Department is now accepting statements of interest from staff for the following position. This position is only open to Transportation Department staff.

Senior Program Manager - Legal and Contract Services

Seeking a Senior Program Manager to oversee the legal, contract services, procurement, and risk management activities within the Legal and Contract Services program area.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Overseeing the development, negotiation, and execution of various contract instruments consistent with federal, state, and local regulatory and/or grant requirements
  • Overseeing the Transportation Department's procurement process in compliance with federal, state and local regulatory and/or grant requirements
  • Overseeing the Transportation Department's risk process for pre-award and post-award grant requirements
  • Managing the submittal of information necessary for committee and board actions
  • Developing work plans and budgets, and monitoring expenditures
  • Preparing and delivering oral presentations
  • Planning and attending meetings, events, and workshops
  • Reviewing documents, including correspondence, spreadsheets, presentations, summaries, documentation, reports, and contacts/agreements
  • Supervising staff

This position requires at least seven years of job-related experience as well as a Bachelor's degree in analytical, quantitative methods. Candidate(s) should also possess excellent written and oral communication, critical-thinking and problem-solving, and excellent managerial and supervisor skills. Expertise of 2 Code of Federal Regulations 200 (2CFR200) is required for this position.
