Job Summary:
The Senior Program Manager will hold overall accountability for the delivery of platforms and services, combining relationship leadership with program and delivery management. The role requires strong technical credibility and the ability to build trusted relationships across leadership, faculty, administrative, and technical teams. The Senior Program Manager will maintain an integrated delivery plan across workstreams, lead governance forums, manage risks and dependencies, and provide clear visibility into program progress, issues, and value delivered. The role requires the ability to engage effectively with both executive stakeholders and technical teams on integrations, data flows, system architecture, and AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the principal point of contact for building and maintaining trusted working relationships across leadership, faculty, administrative, and technical teams.
• Own and maintain a single integrated delivery plan spanning onboarding, integrations, configuration, training, and rollout, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Chair program governance forums, establish agendas, document decisions, and maintain accountability for agreed commitments.
• Provide an evidence-based view of program status and report progress, risks, and issues to leadership on an agreed cadence.
• Act as a technical liaison between IT functions and engineering and product teams, coordinating integrations, data exchange, and configuration activities through resolution.
• Translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and communicate platform and AI capabilities at the appropriate level of detail for each stakeholder group.
• Manage escalations, change control, and cross-team dependencies to identify risks early and drive mitigation activities to closure.
• Monitor adoption and delivery metrics and produce reporting that demonstrates value delivered and identifies opportunities for further impact.
• Represent client requirements internally and provide structured feedback to product and engineering teams to inform the product roadmap.
• Provide onsite support during rollouts, upgrades, and periods of operational or organizational change.
• Manage competing priorities across concurrent workstreams, communicate prioritization decisions and their impacts, and protect critical-path activities.
• Evaluate technical proposals, identify assumptions and risks, and engage engineering teams when additional technical expertise is required.
• Support AI-assisted and automated delivery processes by reviewing design approvals, test results, deployment records, and other delivery evidence.
• Assess whether quality and governance criteria have been met and challenge reported completion when supporting evidence is insufficient.

Required Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience in program delivery, technical account management, solutions consulting, or a comparable senior client-facing delivery role.
• Demonstrated experience owning multi-workstream delivery programs within a client organization.
• Experience serving as the interface between a client's IT function and a software supplier's engineering and product teams.
• Experience chairing governance forums involving conflicting stakeholder priorities and driving documented decisions.
• Experience communicating program status, risks, issues, and challenging updates to executive stakeholders in written and verbal formats.
• Strong understanding of technical architecture concepts, including system integrations, APIs, data flows, authentication, security, and software environments.
• Working knowledge of AI and machine learning applications within software delivery, including capabilities, limitations, and data-handling considerations.
• Strong results and value orientation with experience driving adoption and measurable outcomes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across executive, academic, administrative, and technical audiences.
• Strong ability to manage competing priorities, maintain delivery schedules, and communicate prioritization decisions transparently.
• Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, escalation management, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, three days per week.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in or delivering solutions to K-12 public education environments, including charter, cyber charter, or virtual schooling.
• Familiarity with education-specific systems such as learning management systems, student information systems, virtual classroom platforms, and state assessment and reporting tools.
• Experience with AI-assisted or agentic software delivery programs.
• Background combining technical and client-facing roles, such as engineering or solutions delivery followed by program leadership.
• Experience with formal program or project management methodologies.

Certifications:
• Formal program or project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or an Agile or Scrum qualification is preferred.
