Full Job Description
***Security Clearance Required: A Final DoD Top Secret Clearance***

This position does not provide a telework option. Candidate must be willing to work on-site in Patuxent River, MD.

CRL provides a signing bonus and potential relocation assistance for this position.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support the execution of advanced development research and development (R&E) programs. Work with customers to develop program objectives, derive required operational capabilities, integrated roadmaps, detailed schedules and program budgets. Support and coordinate the development of acquisition and technical documentation including, but not limited to, statements of work and specifications. Analyze contractor proposals as permitted by law and regulation. Monitor and report team and contract status/execution. Facilitate customer engagement and project management throughout the design, engineering, integration, test, and program execution process. Develop, execute, monitor, and report status on multiple assigned project task efforts.

Support and coordinate team project execution, risk management and adjudication of concerns and issues with program leadership, security, and resource sponsors. Coordinate functions between government and contractor project management (and their engineering staff) and the operational subject matter experts, warfighters, and military leaders involved in program planning and execution.

Support and provide insight to determine the effectiveness of project execution and recommend modifications to task processes for future project activities or design reviews. Work with the Project Management and Task Lead(s) to develop out year planning for future capabilities, and provide input to roadmaps for analysis, risk reduction, development and integration of advanced capabilities.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited college or university.

Required Experience: Candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in Avionics Systems Program Management and DoD-5000 acquisition program processes.

Desired Experience:

  • Candidate should be proficient in all Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Candidate should have experience with Microsoft Project or similar resources scheduling tools.
  • Candidate should have demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Candidate should have experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, complex security environment.
