OverviewThe Senior Program Engineer will support the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Research and Technology Integration (RTI) Directorate EOIR Sensors, Modeling, Processing and Power (EMP2) portfolio on the next-generation sensors, processing, simulation, and power.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts in identifying and assessing improvements to existing products and exploring emerging technologies, and will be responsible for ensuring technical feasibility within cost and schedule constraints.
- Review engineering reports, test reports, program management documentation (such as software test plans, software test reports, system performance test reports, system performance reports, budget proposals, spend plans, and progress briefings) to ensure they are properly documented.
- Support efforts regarding sensors, data processing, and other areas of interest.
- The Contractor shall provide access to subject matter expertise on C5ISR systems upon request to provide support for the following tasks:
- Conduct research on emerging technologies such as quantum sensing and radio frequency, advanced optical and hyperspectral imaging, deep sensing, and distributed architectures, and their potential application to the Army and joint warfighting concepts.
- Support the development of warfighting concepts and Joint Force Initiative program planning.
- Support the coordination and integration of a wide range of technical activities across the Joint Service laboratories to ensure alignment, collaboration, and informationsharing in support of the OSW (R&E) Sensors and Processing Community of Interest. This includes supporting the facilitation of crossservice engagement, synchronizing research and development efforts, and supporting RTIs unified technical approaches that advance the communitys sensor and processing priorities.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related scientific or technical discipline.
- Fifteen (15) years of related experience.
- TS/SCI Clearance
Salary range: $180,000-$210,000
This position is in the proposal stage. The above salary range represents a general guideline. Integral Federal considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
