ABOUT THE POSITION
The Homelessness & Coordinated Care Division (HCC) is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator to lead the County's efforts to address unsheltered homelessness and support coordinated encampment response. This role provides program leadership, oversees key initiatives, and partners with local jurisdictions and service providers to advance housing-focused solutions.

Working with a high degree of independence, the Senior Program Coordinator manages operations, supports program improvements, and ensures strong alignment across multiple service systems.

Key responsibilities include:
• Leading unsheltered homelessness and encampment response efforts
• Overseeing contracted outreach services for unsheltered homelessness and encampment response
• Managing grants, contracts, budgets, and reporting requirements
• Coordinating cross-agency responses and community partnerships
• Using data to assess needs, monitor performance, and improve outcomes

This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of people experiencing homelessness and to help shape countywide strategies within a collaborative, mission-driven team. The HCC Division is one of five divisions within the Health and Human Services (HHS) Department at the County of Marin.
HYBRID SCHEDULE
The Health and Human Services Department has embraced a hybrid work schedule that considers that some duties of this position may be performed remotely. However, the successful candidate must be able to report to County facilities for meetings, work assignments, and/or disaster service work upon short notice, as needed and deemed appropriate. During the initial probationary period, the successful candidate may be required to work primarily onsite before establishing a hybrid work schedule.
