Overview

Lutron is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Product Specialist - Product Operations to support the growth and success of our Luxury Shades category at our World Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth management of our existing product portfolio and the successful launch of new solutions in one of Lutron's fastest-growing businesses.

As part of the product management organization, you will work across functions, including engineering, marketing, sales, and supply chain, to execute product plans, streamline operations, and ensure world-class experiences for our customers and partners. In this role you will support the end-to-end lifecycle management and successful launch of technical products. This position is a strong entry point to a career in product management and offers an opportunity to build deep expertise in the luxury shading market.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Luxury Shades portfolio by managing product updates, discontinuations, pricing changes, lead times, and customer communications.
  • Coordinate launch execution by working with marketing and sales to develop launch plans, collateral, and training materials that ensure successful adoption.
  • Gather customer and business insights through engagement with dealers, PROs, and end-users, translating findings into actionable product requirements.
  • Support product development efforts by collaborating with engineering and supply chain to ensure alignment on specifications, timelines, and readiness.
  • Drive organizational alignment by preparing product one-pagers, managing content updates, and coordinating across teams to reduce friction in customer touchpoints.
  • Translate technical details into clear communications for customers, sales teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Measure and track product success against key business metrics, supporting reporting and analysis to inform portfolio decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, design or related technical field; OR a bachelor's degree in a non-technical field with related professional experience.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering, product operations, product support, or a related cross-functional role.
  • Experience working with engineered products, building products, shading systems, lighting controls, smart home technology, or other technical product categories preferred.
  • Willingness to be onsite in Coopersburg, PA, with occasional travel (
