It blends product strategy, financial and market analysis, and hands-on business partnership to support pricing enhancements, new product concepts, and ongoing product health.

We're looking for someone who's curious, analytical, and customer focused. Someone who explores issues beyond the surface to understand root causes, connects market dynamics to business outcomes, and helps guide decisions through thoughtful analysis and clear communication.

  • Monitor and analyze performance of product lines, agents, and books of business; identify the trends and opportunities.
  • Evaluate profit drivers and turn performance analysis into concrete strategy recommendations across profit, growth, retention, and overall book health.
  • Track competitor products, pricing, target markets, and program changes; summarize what they mean for our competitive position and where we should respond.
  • Produce competitive research using multiple sources of market and performance information; form a point of view and recommend actions to leadership.
  • Stay current on competitor rate changes, rating enhancements, and program changes; review filings, rate and rule manuals, and assess the business impact for our lines.
  • Partner across pricing/actuarial, underwriting, and claims to pressure-test recommendations and keep products compliant and financially sound.
  • Research and shape concepts for new or enhanced products and services, including identifying product gaps and the opportunities behind them.
  • Support development of underwriting guidelines and standards; serve as a subject-matter resource on guidelines and contract language as needed.
  • Translate insights from pricing and predictive models into product strategy and recommendations.
  • May serve as project lead for product and service implementations, using sound project-management practices.
