Full Job Description
Ask five people on a product team why a launch slipped and you'll get five different partial answers: Engineering thought Product had locked scope, Product assumed Sales already knew what was changing, and Sales is finding out today, from a customer, that something they promised isn't shipping the way they described it. That gap between good people doing good work is where this job lives, and we need someone who can't stand leaving it open. As the Senior Product Operations Manager at Assembly Software, you'd be the product manager for how our Product organization runs. Not a coordinator keeping a status doc updated, and not a process owner for its own sake, but someone who treats how our PMs, designers, and engineers plan, prioritize, launch, and learn as a product in itself, with real customers, real friction points, and real room to get better. You'll build the scorecards leadership can read without asking anyone for an update, run the readiness process that makes sure Sales and Customer Success know what's shipping before it ships, and use AI daily in how you actually work, not as a line in a strategy deck. We're not hiring this role to keep the trains running on time; we already have that. We want someone who looks at how Product, Engineering, and Design work together and can't help but see exactly what's slowing them down, then goes and fixes it, whether or not it was technically their job. You'll move comfortably between a spreadsheet and a hard conversation with a VP about why a process needs to change, and you'll know when to retire your own mechanism because it's stopped earning its place. We're fully remote, no surprise return-to-office memo hiding in the offer letter, with medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k), and paid parental leave. You'd be joining a small, sharp Product team that takes real pride in what it ships and is ready to hand you real ownership from day one. If this sounds like the seat you've been waiting for, we'd love to hear from you. When you're considering a new job, it's normal to have questions. Here are a few things we get asked all of the time: 1. I'm tired of the daily commute. Where are you located? Assembly Software is a fully remote company. We work across time zones and connect through Teams, so you can build your career from wherever you do your best work: home office, favorite coffee shop, or yes, in your PJs if that's your vibe. 2. What makes Assembly Software different? Our people. We're a fast growing SaaS company and the leading provider of case management solutions for personal injury and legal firms. Through our three brands, Neos, Needles, and TrialWorks, we serve over 2,500 law firms and 40,000+ users, the largest user base in the industry. Backed by Ridge Road Partners since 2017, we combine decades of legal tech expertise with a scrappy, entrepreneurial energy. We move fast, we care about the product, and we have fun doing it. Our sales team also enjoys uncapped commission with built in accelerators, so top performers are rewarded for their impact. 3. What's the benefits package like? Competitive and comprehensive. You'll have access to: - Medical, dental, and vision plans - Short and long term disability coverage - Supplemental insurance options - 401(k) - Flexible time off - Paid parental leave - An Employee Assistance Program We invest in our people because we know our results depend on them. When you do great work here, you'll be recognized and rewarded for it.
