Job Overview-

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager with deep aerospace supply chain expertise and preferably hands-on AI product experience to lead the evolution and market success of Exostar's products for managing customer/supplier relationships. This role is crucial in driving product strategy, managing cross-functional teams, and leveraging AI/ML capabilities to transform how Defense Industrial Base (DIB) organizations promote themselves and manage their relationships with customers and suppliers. You will spearhead efforts to create AI-powered solutions that automate capability analysis, manage business profiles, and track supplier compliance with customer requirements.

Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute a product roadmap aligned with company objectives, evolving supply chain products, and AI-driven innovation opportunities. Identify and prioritize AI/ML capabilities that automate supply chain workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve business profile accuracy. Refine and deliver requirements in partnership with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX experts, and data science teams. Make tough tactical prioritization decisions while focusing on long-term goals. Drive roadmap elements with focus on customer satisfaction that leads to upsell and growth.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions. Gather input from clients, partners, MSPs, and DIB industry experts to shape product direction. Act as the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams

Product Development: Oversee the full product lifecycle for the supply chain products, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization. Drive the integration of AI/ML features including intelligent document analysis, automated certification mapping, and AI-assisted guidance. Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure intuitive and effective product design. Partner with engineering and data science teams to deliver high-quality, scalable AI-powered solutions on schedule.

AI & Innovation: Champion the use of AI/ML technologies to differentiate our compliance solutions. Deploy AI capabilities (including LLMs, NLP, and automation tools) for practical application in supply chain workflows. Define requirements for AI-powered features that reduce customer burden while maintaining audit defensibility. Stay current with AI industry developments and translate innovations into product opportunities.

Market Analysis & Customer Focus: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes in similar supply chain products. Conduct user research and analyze customer feedback to inform product enhancements.

Performance Metrics: Define success metrics and track product performance to ensure continuous improvement. Present insights and results to executive leadership, making data-driven recommendations. Owning product Profit & Loss (P&L); make adequate financial decisions for revenue-based roadmap items and work through sales to close them.

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in software product management including product delivery, budget ownership and customer relationship management
  • Deep knowledge of aerospace supply chain practices with demonstrated experience translating requirements into product features
  • Proven experience deploying AI/ML capabilities in enterprise software products, including defining requirements, working with data science teams, and measuring AI feature effectiveness
  • Prior experience managing products using agile methodologies and project management tools (Atlassian suite a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, and lead presentations, training courses, and effective meetings.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated integrity, independent thinking, judgment, and respect for others
