Full Job Description
The Senior Product Manager Conceives of, develops, delivers, and manages products for customer use. The Senior Product Manager work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Senior Product Manager will provide critical product leadership for Humana’s Master Data Management capabilities while supporting the organization’s Agile transformation and product role standardization. This role will ensure MDM solutions are strategically aligned, well-governed, technically sound, and delivered in partnership with business, data, and technology stakeholders.  The position is essential to maintaining dedicated product leadership within Agile Release Trains, advancing consistent product management practices, and delivering scalable data capabilities that improve quality, governance, integration, and enterprise value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy, roadmap development, and prioritization for Master Data Management capabilities.
  • Translate business needs into clear features, epics, requirements, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with business, technology, architecture, data governance, and engineering teams to deliver high-value solutions.
  • Drive consistency in product management practices across Agile delivery teams and support Humana’s role standardization efforts.
  • Support Agile Release Train alignment and adoption of SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management, and repeatable delivery practices.
  • Ensure MDM solutions address data quality, governance, enterprise integration, and customer/business needs.
  • Collaborate on technical solution delivery involving APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, enterprise integrations, and batch and real-time processing patterns.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring strong product leadership, proven MDM experience, and the technical fluency needed to partner effectively across enterprise teams. Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Product management experience with the ability to lead strategy through execution.
  • Master Data Management expertise, including data quality and governance.
  • Experience with enterprise integrations, APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, and batch and real-time data processing.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery models, SAFe, Agile Release Trains, and Lean Portfolio Management.
  • Cultural alignment with collaborative, accountable, and value-focused ways of working.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be willing/able to work business hours aligned to Eastern Standard Time (EST)
  • Minimum 5 years of product management experience within healthcare, including experience leading enterprise-scale data products
  • Minimum 1 year of Master Data Management (MDM) experience
  • Experience using Azure Dev Ops (ADO) and Jira
  • Strong understanding of SAFe Agile methodologies and demonstrated success leading Agile teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation and analytical skills
  • High caliber technical competency as it relates to software development principles and initiatives

Work-At-Home Requirements

  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 mbps and an upload speed of 10 mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
  • Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • Experience implementing, configuring, or managing enterprise Master Data Management platforms (e.g., Reltio, Informatica MDM, Semarchy, Profisee)
  • Experience managing master data domains such as Provider, Product, Organization, or Reference Data
  • Experience with Data Lakes
  • Healthcare enrollment experience for Medicare or Medicaid

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$104,000 - $143,000 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
