Your Impact
As Senior Product Manager for Streamline CMS, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for a compliance- and accessibility-first content management system that helps local governments build, design, and maintain beautiful, accessible websites for the communities they serve. In this role, you will turn customer, market, and business insights into prioritized investments that improve usability, operational efficiency, and resident experience. You will also help shape portfolio-level direction, advance AI-powered capabilities, and support product management excellence across the organization.

What you'll do
  • Own and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Streamline CMS, ensuring alignment with company objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.
  • Build, prioritize, and maintain a roadmap informed by customer discovery, Voice of Customer inputs, product usage data, business priorities, and technical feasibility.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through delivery, launch, adoption, and ongoing iteration.
  • Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions on time while balancing scope, risk, and dependencies.
  • Make informed trade-offs across features, AI innovation, technical investments, integrations, and operational improvements to maximize customer and business impact.
  • Ensure products meet security, accessibility, data privacy, and regulatory requirements applicable to local government clients.
  • Conduct ongoing customer discovery, market research, and validation through experimentation and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data before and after launch.
  • Serve as a trusted product advocate and advisor to customers, Sales, and internal stakeholders, including participation in customer meetings, demos, marketing events, and sales conversations as a product expert.
  • Lead go-to-market activities, including launch planning, enablement, and post-launch optimization, in partnership with Product Marketing and go-to-market teams.
  • Define, track, and analyze key product metrics related to adoption, engagement, retention, and business impact, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Pioneer AI-powered solutions that solve customer problems and can be leveraged or adopted across the broader product portfolio.
  • Shape and influence the organization's approach to AI capabilities by collaborating with engineering and product peers on strategy, feasibility, and best practices.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for meaningful product-to-product integrations and partnerships that increase portfolio value and customer outcomes.
  • Mentor and guide other product managers through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and informal coaching, modeling product management best practices.
  • Act as a senior individual contributor who can provide guidance and decision support when directors are unavailable.
  • Document product decisions, requirements, and outcomes to ensure transparency, alignment, and continuity across teams.
  • Communicate product strategy, progress, risks, and results regularly to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Contribute to improving product management standards, processes, and tooling across the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

What we're looking for
  • 5-8 years of experience in product management, preferably supporting SaaS or technology-driven products.
  • Proven experience owning a product roadmap and delivering outcomes across the full product lifecycle.
  • Experience working in agile product development environments.
  • Demonstrated track record of pioneering new capabilities or approaches that were adopted more broadly.
  • Strong ability to translate customer and business needs into clear requirements and prioritized roadmaps.
  • Comfort partnering closely with engineering teams and understanding technical concepts, architectures, trade-offs, and AI capabilities.
  • Experience using modern product and analytics tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jira Product Discovery, Figma, Pendo, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to think strategically at the portfolio level while managing execution details.
  • Ability to connect product decisions to customer outcomes and business results.
  • Experience leading go-to-market initiatives and product launches.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.

  • Comfort presenting to customers, executives, and in sales contexts as a trusted product expert.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide other product managers.
  • High degree of autonomy and self-direction; able to identify problems and drive solutions independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
