As a Senior Product Designer at Bitwarden, you will help elevate the user experience for a product that millions love. We're looking for someone who believes that security products can both protect users and be delightful and intuitive. You will collaborate with other product designers and product managers to conduct user research, craft solutions, and shape the overall product experience. Our ideal candidate has high attention to detail, is skilled in interaction design, and thrives in a highly collaborative environment. Candidates should have a well-curated portfolio showcasing their UI and critical thinking skills. Bitwarden is an all-remote team and we're looking for someone located in the U.S. We do not offer visa sponsorship at this time. **RESPONSIBILITIES** - Analyze product feedback and market trends, generate designs, test, and iterate concepts for new and existing product experiences. - Create user flows, prototypes, and production-ready designs for developer execution - Design and prototype seamless, user-centric solutions across the Bitwarden platform (desktop, mobile IOS & Android, web, browser extension) - Conduct and moderate customer and user feedback sessions, surveys, and engagements as needed - Collaborate and facilitate critique sessions with Product Managers to a diverse stakeholder audience - Partner with roles and teams across the company to identify opportunities for continuous user experience improvement and feedback **WHAT YOU BRING TO BITWARDEN** - 5+ years of experience in product design or equivalent experience - Ability to communicate designs through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes - Expertise in Figma, Claude, Chat GPT, V0, Adobe XD, GitHub, or other design and dev tools (we primarily use Figma paired with other generative tools) - Experience in planning and executing comprehensive user research and testing cycles - Familiarity with prompt writing for AI tools - Technical design expertise: knowledgeable of front-end engineering practices, designing systems, and applying systems thinking - Collaborative and adaptable mindset - Demonstrated experience in influencing leadership regarding design direction by using data and user feedback to justify decisions - Openness and authenticity, paired with strong communication skills - Excitement and enthusiasm for open source and better internet security - An online portfolio or examples of work showcasing a variety of artifacts created in developing UX solutions. **NICE-TO-HAVE** - Startup experience - Experience designing for security-focused applications - Experience designing products for both B2C and B2B customers - Experience designing for IOS and Android applications - Experience with WCAG guidelines - Front-end development experience - Cross-platform design experience **DESIGN AT BITWARDEN** The Product Design team at Bitwarden is dedicated to simplifying the management of sensitive data for users of all skill levels, with a focus on creating user-friendly experiences that enhance efficiency and security.
