Position Description: CGI is seeking a Senior Product Business Analyst to support technology delivery within a financial services environment. This role will partner closely with business and technology teams to gather, analyze, and translate business needs into clear product deliverables, including features, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, data requirements, process flows, and implementation notes.

This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities: CGI is seeking a Senior Product Business Analyst to support technology delivery within a financial services environment. This role will partner closely with business and technology teams to gather, analyze, and translate business needs into clear product deliverables, including features, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, data requirements, process flows, and implementation notes.
The ideal candidate will bring strong Agile delivery experience, solid data analysis skills, and the ability to work across business, product, and engineering stakeholders. This role will support planning sessions, backlog refinement, sprint activities, product demos, UAT readiness, and post implementation support. The position requires someone who can lead requirements discussions, clarify complex business and system needs, and help teams deliver practical, high-quality solutions in a modern cloud and AWS heavy technology environment.
This is a hybrid role based in Reston, with three days onsite and two days remote.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 5+ years experience in Agile delivery environments, including business analysis, data analysis, sprint planning, story writing, backlog grooming, prioritization, and acceptance criteria definition.
. Strong business analysis and product analysis background, including requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, workshop facilitation, gap analysis, traceability, and impact assessment.
. Hands on experience translating business needs into features, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, non functional requirements, data requirements, and implementation details.
. Comfortable working with business data needs, defining data requirements, analyzing downstream impacts, and supporting data driven product decisions.
. Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, prioritization, sprint reviews, demos, PI planning, and UAT support.
. Ability to work directly with business teams to clarify needs and document requirements that are clear enough for technology delivery.
. Experience partnering with technology teams to convert business requirements into system solutions, product enhancements, and delivery ready stories.
. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain business, data, technical, and operational concepts to both business and technology stakeholders.
. Good quality mindset, including attention to requirement detail, test scripts, acceptance criteria, UAT readiness, demos, and final acceptance outcomes.
. Experience creating process flows, system flows, and visual documentation to support business and technology alignment.
. Familiarity with cloud based or AWS heavy environments, especially where product, data, and system requirements need to support scalable enterprise platforms.
. Ability to provide product support and deliver effective demonstrations of existing and new features to internal and external stakeholders.
. Prior experience mentoring or guiding other Business Analysts is helpful.
. Strong SDLC knowledge, including experience with client server, object oriented, web based systems, applications, and enterprise technology environments.
. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
. Experience using Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Apptio.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $95,700.00 $138,600.00.
