The UFC is seeking a Senior Producer to join our Emmy Award-winning production team in Las Vegas. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience supervising the production of a wide array of original programming and promotional content for major sports and/or entertainment brands, across various media platforms. This position provides creative direction and leadership throughout the production process, for multiple, diverse projects simultaneously. - Functions as showrunner for long-form programming, including full-length documentaries and episodic series, for linear television networks, streaming and social media platforms.
- Produces short-form content, including promotional spots/trailers, features, opens/teases, and more, across all media platforms.
- Take on the role of a supervisor and manage the responsibilities involved with having a team of direct reports.
- Produces branded content that connects the UFC brand with the brands of our corporate sponsors in ways that generate interest and drive traffic.
- Develops innovative programming ideas, builds show formats, writes treatments, and pitches new concepts to internal groups and external partners.
- Writes voice-over narration scripts for long-form and short-form content.
- Leading a crew of cinematographers, designers, editors and associate producers on various projects, emphasizing innovative thinking and strategic risk-taking, in the field or studio environments.
- Interprets research and analytics to provide insight that effectively translates into the production of compelling content.
- Oversees multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, while efficiently managing production budgets and delivery schedules.
- Provides guidance and editorial oversight to video editors and motion graphics designers in a post-production environment.
- Facilitates effective communications between departments (marketing, sales, creative, PR, digital, sponsorship, etc.) and with external parties (media partners, corporate sponsors, production vendors, etc.).
- Continually raises the bar for innovative producing and creative storytelling and inspires others to do their best work.
You Have These:
- 7+ years of professional experience as a Producer.
- Demonstrable, relevant experience creating and producing compelling programming of various genres, formats and lengths, for all media platforms.
- Management experience required, either corporate or project-based, with strong leadership qualities and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Broadcasting, Radio/TV/Film, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in all facets of production processes, including the Adobe Creative Suite, required.
- Knowledge of EVS video workflows in a studio environment is preferred.
- Experience directing crew and talent is required.
- Experience working for a post-production company or broadcast creative team is a plus.
- Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed.
- Experience in a sports environment is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of MMA is a plus.
