Job Description

The Senior Procurement Engineer develops and industrializes the supply base, drives Product Cost Roadmaps (PCRs), and executes Design for eXcellence (DfX) analyses and value-creation to optimize cost, quality, and risk

Your role:
  • Strong Procurement background, appreciation of goals and metrics, strategizes, and delivers results
  • Own and manage product roadmaps (BOM cost reduction, component de-risking, and overall Procurement strategy)
  • Develops and implements cost-saving strategies to optimize product cost and manufacturability
  • Use DfX methodology to improve cost, quality, manufacturability, value, and risk
  • Represents the site procurement function in cross-functional teams and external negotiations, effectively communicating procurement strategies, cost considerations, and project updates to stakeholders


You're the right fit if:
  • You've acquired 2+ years of experience in supply chain management, engineering operations, research and development, quality, mechanical engineering or equivalent. 5+ years of experience preferred.
  • Your skills include cost engineering, DfX methodology, supplier relationship management, business acumen, lean methodologies, and manufacturing procedures
  • You have a Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Operations, Business or equivalent. Master's degree preferred.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

This is an office role.

The pay range for this position in CA is $105,000 to $168,000

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
