Full Job Description
Senior Process Improvement Specialist to join our Strategic Services team. This role follows a remote work model.

What you'll be challenged to do:

The Senior Process Improvement Specialist will lead process improvement, automation, and assist with the seamless integration of engineering client projects attained through acquisitions. This position will collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize opportunities for process enhancement, ensuring that the firm delivers exceptional value to clients.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
  • Lead enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives that enhance the efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness of project financial operations throughout the project lifecycle (setup through closeout).
  • Identify, prioritize, and implement automation opportunities that reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and increase operational scalability.
  • Partner with business, operations, finance, and technology teams to evaluate current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop sustainable solutions.
  • Drive operational excellence through process redesign, workflow optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Lead high-impact initiatives focused on improving productivity, reducing cycle times, strengthening internal controls, and enhancing the customer experience.
  • Establish and maintain standardized processes, policies, and best practices for project setup, maintenance, invoicing, revenue recognition, contract management, and project closeout.
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize initiatives that align with strategic business objectives and operational goals.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives by developing and executing change management, communication, and training strategies that support successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Support ERP enhancements, system optimization, and technology initiatives by ensuring business processes are aligned with system capabilities and future organizational needs.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and process mapping sessions to identify root causes, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve end-to-end workflows.
  • Develop governance, documentation, and process controls to ensure consistency, compliance, and long-term sustainability of operational improvements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting collaboration, accountability, innovation, and knowledge sharing across the organization.


What you will bring to our firm:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science or related field
  • 8 years of relevant experience, preferably with knowledge of engineering industry practices and trends.
  • Experience in project management, change management or a related field within the engineering or technical industry.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Advanced project and workload prioritization skills, ability to multitask and adjust priorities.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, communicate, and implement process improvements.
  • Strong project management skills, including developing and managing complex integration plans.
  • Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $148,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
