SciTec has an immediate opportunity for a talented
Integration Engineer to support the development and delivery of software for missile warning and space-domain awareness. Responsibilities- Monitor deployments across multiple networks and security domains using metrics, logs, and alerts.
- Maintain and enhance monitoring, logging and alerting solutions.
- Support root-cause analysis for software defects or outages, and collaborate with network, deployment, and application teams to resolve issues. Recommend corrective and preventative actions where applicable.
- Develop and maintain system integration architecture and comprehensive documentation that serves as a roadmap for current and future integration directions.
- Understand and document end-user needs, including requirements, desirements, and pain-points from within the user community.
- Support capability planning, performance analysis, technical control board meetings, and operational reviews.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and operational planning activities
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements- A bachelor's degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
- Eight (8)+ years of professional experience in engineering, systems engineering, computer science, or infrastructure operations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across algorithm, compute, and networking layers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to switch between technical and non-technical communication.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to own issues through resolution.
- An active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
- Ability to work full-time on-site at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska.
- Ability to travel 5-10% of time, as needed.
Candidates who have one or more of the following skills will
be preferred:- Graduate degrees or coursework in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience scripting or automating tasks using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Domain experience with United States missile warning, missile defense, or space-domain awareness architectures, including networks, sensors, and command centers.
- Advanced software engineering skills; especially with C++ or Java.
- Strong experience with Linux operating systems.
- Experience with data analysis and monitoring tools, such as Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Experience with Integration, Verification and Test (IV&T) activities.

The pay range for this position is $141,000 - $212,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. This is not a guarantee of compensation.
