Full Job Description
Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Senior Principal Engineer (R4-R6) to design, develop, and support intralogistics systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing. Implement and maintain SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) systems. Update EWM systems to align with production goals. Perform logistics flow monitoring, support transportation management, and conduct data analytics. Support integration of EWM solutions with warehouse control systems, automated storage and retrieval systems, automated guided vehicles, manufacturing execution systems, and robotic equipment. Develop and implement system enhancements and process improvements. Develop and quantify business cases to provide input on site roadmaps and measure value gained from solution implementation. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressively responsible experience with identifying and resolving technical issues related to WCS systems. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with SAP PP, QM, MM, and 3PL integrations; 3 years of experience with building solutions in an agile framework, including designing, implementing, automating, modernizing, maintaining, and optimizing solutions; and 1 year of experience with delivering EWM solutions in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Up to 5% domestic and international travel required. #LI-DNI

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$156,166.00 - $179,590.90 per year
