POSITION DESCRIPTION:We are looking for an experienced Analog IC Design Engineer in our advanced development team who will deliver new and innovative solutions for mobile device power management and RF front end solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the architecture, design, simulation, layout oversight, and characterization of high-performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.
Areas of responsibility include:
- Precision amplifiers and comparators
- Voltage references and bias circuits
- Oscillators and clock generation circuits
- ADCs and DACsPower management building blocks
- Mixed-signal control and calibration circuits
This role requires close collaboration with system architects, digital designers, product teams, and customers to deliver innovative semiconductor solutions.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and contribute to invention disclosures and technical publications.
Requirements:- BSEE with 15+ years of relevant industry experience; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong analog IC design experience at the transistor level.
- Experience designing one or more of the following:
-Amplifiers
-Comparators
-Voltage references and bias circuits
-Oscillators
-ADCs/DACs
-Mixed-signal subsystems
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and analog verification tools.
- Strong understanding of:
-Analog circuit design fundamentals
-Device physics
-Noise analysis
-Stability and compensation techniques
-Matching and PVT variation analysis
-Hands-on silicon characterization and debug experience.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Desired Qualifications:- 15+ years of experience with M.S. or Ph.D. degrees is preferred.
- Familiarity with RF transceiver and front-end architectures, and their trade-offs and system specifications is a plus.
- End-to-end analog/RFIC development experience from definition to productization is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of device physics over PVT and frequency.
- Knowledge of data analysis and programming tools such as MATLAB, JMP, Spotfire, and ADS AEL is a plus.
