Your day at NTT DATA
As a Senior Principal Cloud Services Architect at NTT DATA, you'll be a key player in pushing the boundaries of what's possible with cloud technology. You'll work closely with clients and our sales and delivery teams to co-create innovative and secure managed services solutions. Your expert design and sales skills will help close deals and accelerate our clients' digital transformation.

You'll leverage significant subject matter expertise to design comprehensive managed services solutions by working with cross-functional technical teams. Your day-to-day duties will include researching third-party technologies, articulating value propositions, and presenting solutions to clients. From the initial design to post-implementation, you'll ensure that our services are competitive, secure, and meet all client requirements.

In addition to designing solutions, you'll lead the creation of managed service offerings. This involves conducting sales presentations, product demonstrations, and collaborating with platform delivery teams to validate new features. Your role extends to providing technical leadership and ensuring all service design deliverables are accurate and signed off by relevant stakeholders.

You'll not only design solutions but also facilitate workshops with clients and internal teams to discover requirements and present solutions, ensuring client buy-in. Your efforts will impact the organization's strategy and offerings, contributing to our best practices and innovative solutions for the future. Mentoring less experienced team members and sharing your extensive knowledge will also be a key part of your role.

To thrive in this role, you need to have:
  • Extensive understanding of cloud technologies, networking, security, and system administration.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of multi-cloud technologies, cloud-native application workflows, and architecture transformation.
  • Applied skills in Azure, GCP, and/or AWS infrastructure architecture and pre-sales.
  • In-depth understanding of virtualization, hybrid computing environments, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Knowledge of Managed Services delivery models, including cloud and global delivery.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of emerging cloud technology trends and industry best practices.
  • Strong communication skills to convey improvements and value to stakeholders, including C-suite decision-makers.
  • Proficiency in facilitating workshops and obtaining client buy-in for proposed solutions.
  • Capability to work collaboratively in a team, especially within a matrixed organization.
  • Passion for mentoring and providing technical expertise to support team development.
  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
