Job Description

The Senior Pricing Analyst supports ABS's strategic pricing initiatives by analyzing market, financial, and operational data to help develop pricing strategies for new and existing services. This role partners across global and cross-functional teams to support pricing reviews, implement pricing policies, maintain pricing tools and systems, and provide insights that help drive commercial decisions. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability with the ability to clearly communicate recommendations to leadership.

What You Will Do:
  • Monitor and recommend pricing processes for the business
  • Monitor and guide the review process to define pricing strategies
  • Assist with pricing policy and guideline implementation across the business
  • Work across global, cross-functional project teams in structuring and executing analyses required to develop pricing policies
  • Support multiple service pricing reviews simultaneously
  • Facilitate and train personnel on tools developed to operationalize pricing processes
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support as necessary
  • Ensure internal systems are timely and accurately updated with approved pricing policies
  • Support Commercial Operations initiatives and goals

What You Will Need:

Required/Preferred Education and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Pricing, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Field Sales, Economics, or related role.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Certified Pricing Professional preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Technical experience with financial and accounting systems.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to various levels of management.
  • Proven ability to excel in a non-structured environment.
  • Experience supporting pricing decisions, including but not limited to forecasting, segmentation analysis, competitive benchmarking, and statistical price sensitivity modeling
  • Experience implementing and maintaining CPQ system preferred
  • Experience operating in a mature Pricing Organization preferred
  • Experience with an Engineering or services company preferred
  • Previous use of Power BI and/or Tableau preferred
  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting preferred
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint preferred
  • Oracle ERP system experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems

Reporting Relationships:

Reports directly to Senior Manager, Pricing
