Senior Pre-Construction Estimator
Summary
The Senior Estimator provides full-time support to the Vice President of Pre-Construction. The Senior Estimator frequently interacting with clients and contractors. This role assists management in preparing work to be estimated, gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and other related documents. Identifying labor, materials, and time requirements for projects, attend bid meetings, owner meetings, and other meetings with stakeholders and work alongside of the estimating team to prepare budgets in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities (responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following)
Prepare work to be estimated. Gather proposals, blueprints, specifications, and other related documents
Identify labor, materials, and time requirements for projects
Attend bid meetings, owner meetings, and other meetings with stakeholders
Work directly with (Senior Estimator) to generate estimates for small and large projects
Communicate and interact with sub-contractors and component suppliers
Keeps abreast of latest trends of the Construction industry
Maintain a high degree of integrity and loyalty toward the company and customers
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or a related field, or 7 to 10 years equivalent experience
Must be able to review plans and evaluate drawings quickly and accurately
Familiarity with local jurisdictions, codes, and review processes a plus
Valid Driver's License
Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
Ability to give clear directions and respond to inquiries
Exceptional customer service skills

The Estimator physical condition must be sufficient for the consistent and successful completion of the responsibilities defined for this position. This position frequently requires standing, walking, sitting, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
