We are now looking for a senior software engineer to join our Hardware Infrastructure team! Our team is responsible for delivering highly available platform services and performant web applications which integrate with various data storage systems, data streaming technologies, and data visualization frameworks. This software development team is a multifaceted agile software team with high production quality standards, producing tools used by engineering teams across the company for tracking, triaging and debugging various kinds of data processing workflows. We are looking for motivated engineers to build and maintain the tools and services which empower NVIDIA's mission of solving the world's toughest computing challenges.
What you'll be doing:- Design, build and test performant frontend web applications and scalable backend web services with coherent interfaces that simplify integration for both our colleagues and their AI agents.
- Gather requirements and provide consultation to internal customers (chip designers, build farm teams, infrastructure teams) to understand their processes, needs and use-cases.
- Maintain services and tools emphasizing reliability, stability, quality of service and customer happiness while preserving the health of the codebase by concentrating on deployment throughput.
- Mentor colleagues to help solve difficult technical problems and bring clarity to complex domains through code reviews and pairing sessions.
- Influence and establish guidelines around adopting agentic development to improve the software development lifecycle.
What we need to see:- 8+ Years of delivering reliable and scalable web services and web applications.
- Bachelors degree CS or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Expert knowledge of TypeScript and the Node.js ecosystem
- In-depth understanding of at least one network systems level programming language such as Go, Java, C++, or Rust
- Experience with design and development of distributed web services, and detailed knowledge of modular software design, data structures and algorithms.
- Eagerness to experiment with emerging AI tools and to help scale AI use safely across teams.
- Excellent planning, presentation, and general communication and interpersonal skills.
- In depth understanding of concurrency, locking and multi-threading.
- Familiarity with Linux fundamentals. (systemd administration and debugging)
- Experience with SQL and relational databases as well as unstructured non-relational databases
Ways to stand out from the crowd:- Having published papers, blog posts or presentations on web development or software engineering patterns and practices.
- Being curious and possessing an ability to continuously learn and adapt in an environment with frequently evolving requirements.
- Familiarity with the latest trends in AI tools, frameworks and technologies to improve development productivity

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
