Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Senior Planner Wholesale Channel Mechanical Parts Growth to join our team in Franklin, TN. This role will be responsible for managing the design & development and results of wholesale channel incentives and campaigns tailored toward specific customer segments to build brand awareness and drive part sales growth. Manages third party vendor activities to develop creative elements and content of campaign. Manage web-based direct-to-customer incentive program and management application.


A Day in the Life:

  • Promotes Mechanical part sales and coordinates with regions, field, and dealers, the execution of sales initiatives and tactics designated to achieve Mechanical sales and profit objectives.
  • Creates and analyzes WDs support requirements and strategies and implements program enhancements and recommendations for the development of parts incentives programs.
  • Recommends Stocking Programs, Marketing, field and dealer training, and others.
  • Manages the development, design, launch, marketing and incentive support required for the wholesale distributor program.
  • Manages the development and maintenance of aftermarket parts catalog formatting such as ACES/PIES to support the wholesale distributor program.
  • Manages the process and revenue stream for the distribution of NNA’s parts catalog and price tape to external entities.
  • Responsible for sales performance, profit, and budget. Maintains and develops KPIs, action plans, and performance tracking reports to guide regional dealer support activity.
  • Supports the Bill Murray Associates representants in prospecting new WDs accounts.
  • Supports the Wholesale Acceleration Managers with in-market dealer training, dealer performance management and Wholesale distributor customer support activities in conjunction with Regional staff.
  • Maintains and develops KPIs, action plans, and performance tracking reports to guide regional dealer support activity.
  • Support wholesale specific field personnel and dealers that assist in driving growth and responsibility to the dealer level.
  • Direct assistance to review and maintain customer segments, Incentives, content and promotional offers for the Wholesale Advantage annual programs.
  • Overall program management, program execution, and daily administration duties including communications to NNA dealers and field organization, crediting/debiting dealer accounts, communication and other tasks required to manage programs.
  • Creates and maintains program timelines, activities, milestones, and deliverable through planning and tracking tools. Reviews the effect and performance of P&S sales operations, regions, and cross functional departments. Responsible for meeting program timelines and launch dates.
  • Conduct requested reviews and studies to identify improvements. Assist with the development of presentations relating to performance and business development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal Sales & Marketing and the SCM teams.
  • This is not all inclusive of all responsibilities and others may be assigned as needed to maintain the most nimble and aggressive team to exceed targets.

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

  • Job Knowledge and Skill: Good understanding of automotive aftermarket parts business, marketing practices, and dealer operations. Ability to lead team projects to develop complex programs involving cross-functional input. Ability to think creatively in developing new business models, marketing and promotional solutions.
  • Experience: At least 6-7 years of experience relating to business channel development, corporate marketing, customer segmentation, and database administration including experience developing and executing Wholesale customer-direct programs and promotions. Automotive experience required. Additional experience with program management, brand management, channel management and customer relationship management preferred.
  • Field experience required.
  • Education: Bachelors’ degree from an accredited university required. MBA preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Advanced Excel and database software program skills preferred.
  • Communication: Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication skills, consensus and team-building skills, ability to manage up, ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to perform work onsite at Franklin, TN HQ .
  • Travel requirements: 50%
