Required Experience:
  • Some experience playing an instrument, piano preferably, at any level
  • Post-secondary education of any discipline
  • At least 5 years of prior work experience (including self-employment), with available references
  • At least 2 years of prior success in sales or similar
  • Fluency with current cloud productivity software and basic workflow

The 'Nice to Haves':
  • Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese, both verbal and written
  • Marketing experience including developing and executing social media campaigns, fostering community engagement and creating SEO-focused content

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Serve new & existing piano clients, educating them on our products and services, identifying enticing opportunities for them to purchase, and facilitating in the fulfilment process. Customers may be served in-person and virtually, including physically in a showroom, by phone, by SMS, email, at various promotional events, and online chat and social media.

2. Learn about, and maintain an expert-level knowledge of the marketplace, both products and competitors

3. Provide floor coverage at any of our 3 locations as needed; however salespeople would always have a home-base where the majority of their time was focused. We currently operate 3 GTA locations, in Oakville, Vaughan, and Toronto.

4. Participate in professional development, training, and team meetings, some of which may take place outside of standard shift times.

5. Adhere to company processes, procedures, approaches and general sales philosophies, as well as use tools and systems as provided.

Salary Expectations & Benefits:

The compensation structure includes both base salary in addition to performance-based commission. Successful candidates have the ability to earn between $80,000 - $120,000+ per year depending on performance level.

Schedule & Location:

The schedule includes a blended schedule included day shifts, evening shifts and consistent weekends. This is an on-site and in-person role with little to no options to work remotely from home.
