Description

The Role

The Senior Partner Manager, Art & Antiques is a strategic advisor to ATG's most important auction house partners across our art, antiques, and design marketplaces - including LiveAuctioneers. This is not a transactional account management role; it is a strategic relationship management and thought leadership position. You will help partners understand how to grow the online aspect of their auction business by leveraging data and insights, product enhancements, new tools and digital marketing. Your role is to deeply understand your partners' business to unlock how ATG's platforms, tooling, insights and marketing can be the growth engine for their businesses. Success in this role means our partners grow because of the relationship, not despite it: the essence of ATG's shared success model.

Why This Role Matters

Art and antiques auctioneers are navigating an evolving digital landscape as AI starts to show up in auction technology. The competition for online demand is getting more difficult; keeping pace with the rate of change in the industry is where ATG delivers truly differentiated value. The Senior Partner Manager, A&A is ATG's face of the business; a strategic partner who ensures our auction houses don't just keep pace with change, but grow because of it. Done well, this role is the clearest expression of ATG's shared success model in action.

Key Responsibilities
What You'll Do

Own strategic partner relationships. Independently manage a focused portfolio of ATG's most important Art & Antiques auction houses - the accounts where deep, senior-level relationship investment drives the greatest mutual growth.

Act as a trusted strategic advisor. Serve as each partner's business consultant on growth strategy and digital transformation, not just their point of contact - building relationships with ownership and senior specialists.

Lead on AI and digital transformation. Position how AI is transforming the industry and explain to your partners how they can capitalize. Share informed perspective on how AI-enhanced tools in cataloging, image recognition, provenance research, collector targeting, and AI search discoverability are changing the art and antiques auction world, and help partners adopt what matters for their business.

Champion the shared success model. Ground every strategic conversation in mutual growth: partner revenue and platform utilization rising alongside ATG's, not one at the expense of the other.

Drive platform and marketing adoption. Work in partnership with your auctioneer customers to understand the most impactful product mix among ATG's full suite of tools; marketplace technology, white label technology, cross-listing products, upgraded platforms and marketing services.

Partner cross-functionally. Work within the strategic account pod structure alongside Operations, Event Management, and Exec Sponsorship to deliver a coordinated, senior-level experience to top-tier partners.

Lead with data. Use account and revenue data to identify growth opportunities and early risk signals, translating analysis into a proactive strategic plan for each partner rather than a reactive one.

Represent the voice of the partner. Bring partner insight back into ATG - shaping product, marketing, and platform priorities based on what art and antiques auctioneers actually need to grow.

Build a reputation as a trusted, credible voice in the art and antiques auction community through partner advocacy and thought leadership.

Key Requirements
What You'll Need

7+ years in strategic account management, business consulting, or partner/customer success, with a track record of driving growth - not just retention - across a portfolio of high-value accounts

Demonstrated ability to operate as a trusted advisor at the executive level, comfortable in the room with auction house owners and senior specialists

Genuine curiosity about how AI and digital tools are reshaping cataloguing, discovery, and collector behavior, with the ability to translate that into practical guidance for partners

Experience in or strong familiarity with the art, antiques, or collectibles auction market, or adjacent luxury and collectibles industries

A strategic mindset paired with commercial rigor - comfortable using data to build a case, not only relationship instinct

Exceptional communication and executive presence; equally credible leading a QBR with a partner's leadership team or shaping strategy internally

Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM/BI tooling for account planning and reporting

A genuine belief in win-win commercial relationships - this role only succeeds if partners visibly grow

Auction Technology Group is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000 plus commission. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

The total compensation package for this position may also include stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
