*This position is contingent upon award of a government contract.*Position SummaryThe Senior Oracle Database Administrator will provide administration, maintenance, monitoring, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and security support for mission-critical Oracle databases supporting NICHD enterprise applications.
Responsibilities- Administer Oracle databases in Azure cloud environments.
- Manage Oracle Data Guard configurations.
- Perform backup and recovery using RMAN and related technologies.
- Configure and support Oracle GoldenGate replication.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement security controls and database hardening.
- Support application deployments and database releases.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years Oracle Database Administration experience.
- Experience with Oracle 19c, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle GoldenGate, RMAN, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Linux-based Oracle environments.
- Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills.
- Strong performance tuning and troubleshooting expertise.
Preferred Qualifications- Oracle certifications.
- MySQL administration experience.
- Azure cloud database experience.
