Full Job Description
Senior or Principal Planner

What You Will Do
  • Provides day-to-day project leadership
  • Ensures timely processing and completion of development review applications
  • Demonstrates continuous and measurable efforts to improve operations and procedures
  • Interprets and administers provisions of Town's Land Management Ordinance development-type applications
  • Leads interdisciplinary project teams on complex planning initiatives
  • Makes decisions, clarifies issues according to the LMO and Comprehensive Plan and answers inquiries;
  • Establish on-going relationships with Town staff, the news media, the general public, and community, state, and national organizations

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Driver's license
  • AICP certified preferred
