The Senior Onboarding Professional will lead and improve the company's onboarding experience, ensuring new hires, hiring managers, and key partners have a smooth, compliant, and engaging experience from offer acceptance through successful integration into the organization. This role will create and maintain onboarding standards, governance practices, and long-term strategies that drive consistency, efficiency, and scalability across all areas of the business.

A key responsibility of this role is leading enterprise-wide process improvement efforts to simplify onboarding, remove barriers, and improve outcomes for new hires and stakeholders. The Senior Onboarding Professional will work closely with HR, Information Technology, Learning, Compliance, and operational teams to redesign processes, identify technology improvements, and implement solutions that increase efficiency, visibility, and the overall user experience. This role will also provide strategic guidance on onboarding and workforce experience trends, build business cases for change, and partner with leaders to ensure onboarding programs support organizational goals and deliver measurable results.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 + years of experience in onboarding, employee experience, HR operations, process improvement, organizational effectiveness, service design, or related fields.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide programs or strategic initiatives.
  • Experience managing large-scale change and transformation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in HR transformation, employee experience, product management, journey management, or service design.
  • Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Design Thinking, or Process Excellence certifications.
  • Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, HR technology, workflow automation, or employee experience platforms.

Additional information

  • You will report to an Onboarding Manager
  • You will be fully remote within the US.
  • You will be an individual contributor
  • You will not have any travel.

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$78,400 - $107,800 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
