Job Information

As a Senior Network Administrator at FloWorks International, you will lead in managing, optimizing, and integrating network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will encompass network design, configuration, security, and seamless integration with various systems and applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Cisco, Fortinet, and SD-WAN technologies and a knack for integrating network solutions into complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain advanced network architectures tailored to client requirements.
  • Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot network performance, ensuring maximum availability and reliability.
  • Develop and enforce robust security policies and protocols to safeguard the network infrastructure.
  • Expertly configure and maintain Cisco and Fortinet firewall solutions.
  • Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Design, deploy, and manage SD-WAN solutions to enhance network efficiency and application performance.
  • Optimize traffic routing and QoS policies for maximum productivity.
  • Monitor and manage SD-WAN configurations for ongoing improvements.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and integration requirements.
  • Plan, design, and execute seamless integrations of network systems with third-party applications and services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues effectively.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and inventory.
  • Update documentation to reflect changes resulting from integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration projects.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior network administrators.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
  • Assist with projects.
  • Other duties as assigned by the VP of IT in support of the business.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in network administration, with a strong focus on Cisco, Fortinet, and SD-WAN technologies.
  • Proven track record in successfully integrating network systems with various applications and services.
  • Certification in Cisco (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) and Fortinet (e.g., NSE) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
