Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or similar; WI PE license required.
• 12+ years of diversified civil engineering experience, especially in municipal engineering.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Knowledge in planning, designing, and construction for local roads and utility projects.
• Experience in municipal advisory roles, capital budgeting, and project deliverables.
• Proficient in project management functions including scoping, scheduling, and QA/QC processes.
• Excellent communication skills for client relationship building and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership on project pursuits and client relationship development.
• Develop project approaches, schedules, budgets, and negotiate scopes with clients.
• Assist clients with funding applications and permitting processes.
• Create high-level design criteria and project work plans.
• Lead project teams and manage collaboration with engineers, designers, and construction staff.
• Conduct coordination meetings and serve as the main client contact for projects.
• Accountable for project performance, managing scope creep and taking corrective actions.
