The Senior Multimedia Producer at the University of New Hampshire is a highly skilled, hands-on content producer responsible for creating high-quality photography and video that supports UNH's brand and a wide range of university-wide marketing, communications, and engagement efforts.
While the role is prioritized toward high-impact, revenue-generating initiatives such as undergraduate and graduate recruitment and Advancement, the Senior Multimedia Producer works centrally to support storytelling and communications needs across the university.
This role sits within UNH's central creative team and works closely with the Director of Photography, Executive Creative Director, Executive Director of Content, and cross-functional partners across Creative, Content, and Marketing. The Senior Multimedia Producer operates as an independent producer, owning projects from concept through delivery, while working within established project management and creative workflows.
Duties/ResponsibilitiesPhotography & Video Production - 70% - Produce high-quality photography and video content in support of brand, recruitment, campaign, and editorial needs.
- Own end-to-end execution of assigned projects, including pre-production planning, on-site production, post-production, and final delivery.
- Capture a wide range of content including portraits, lifestyle, events, academic environments, and marketing-driven visuals.
- Produce video content across formats such as short-form social, campaign videos, interviews, and internal communications.
- Ensure all work aligns with UNH's visual identity, brand standards, and storytelling principles.
Creative Partnership & Coordination - 15%- Work closely with the Director of Photography to ensure production work meets UNH's visual standards and expectations.
- Partner with the Executive Creative Director and creative team members on assigned projects to support broader creative and brand goals.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director of Content and content team to support editorial storytelling through strong visual execution.
- Take direction and feedback constructively while contributing ideas and solutions throughout the production process.
Production Execution & Workflow - 10%- Execute projects efficiently and independently within established creative and production workflows.
- Coordinate with the Project Management team to support clear handoffs, accurate scoping, and timely delivery.
- Work with freelancers, student contributors, or vendors as needed under the guidance of the Director of Photography.
- Manage equipment, file organization, and production logistics related to assigned projects.
Asset Management & Distribution - 5% - Ensure photo and video assets are properly organized, tagged, and archived within UNH's digital asset management systems.
- Follow best practices for file management, usage rights, accessibility (including captions), and distribution.
- Deliver assets optimized for intended platforms and audiences.
RequirementsMinimum Acceptable Education & Experience:- 6-8+ years of professional experience in photography and multimedia production.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in photography, with solid experience in video production and editing.
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools including Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and related software.
- Experience working independently on projects within a collaborative, in-house or agency environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
- Experience working with students, freelancers, or external partners is a plus.
- Familiarity with higher education or brand-driven environments is preferred.

Compensation Pay Range:
$57,590.00 - $102,850.00
