Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management; or 5-7 years' experience in estimating and design management.
• Experience with MEP trade estimation, specifically in Mechanical and Electrical systems.
• In-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices essential for MEP projects.
• Proven experience in estimating intricate mechanical systems and complex electrical setups.
• Familiarity with software such as MS Excel, On-Screen Take-Off, Bluebeam Studio, Accubid, Revizto, WinEst preferred.
• Experience managing subcontractors and dealing with subcontracts is crucial.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review bid documents to ensure timely submissions.
• Conduct accurate quantity take-offs to inform estimates.
• Assist in developing execution plans and winning strategies for bids.
• Create detailed estimates and comprehensive proposals including necessary documentation.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships during the preconstruction phase.
• Engage in peer reviews of bids and contracts to ensure compliance.
• Participate in design and project meetings to provide input on project execution.
