Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically strong Senior Mechanical Engineer who can lead the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, driving innovation, and collaborating across functions to improve product performance and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate brings deep engineering expertise, a hands-on approach to problem solving, and the ability to influence outcomes across teams. You are a technical leader who can mentor others, contribute to strategic initiatives, and continuously improve processes and products.

What will you be doing?
  • Lead the design, analysis, and development of mechanical systems and components from concept through production
  • Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges and improve product performance
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure effective implementation of designs
  • Support testing, validation, and documentation of mechanical systemsLead root cause analysis and corrective actions for product and process issues
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost efficiency, and production reliability
  • Evaluate and select materials, processes, and technologies to meet operational and product requirements
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and cross-functional teams
  • Support facility expansions, capital projects, shutdown planning, and commissioning activities
  • Contribute to technical standards, intellectual property, and engineering best practices
Who are You?
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field (Master's degree a plus).
  • 10+ years of experience in facility design, plant engineering, mechanical engineering, or related engineering roles.
  • Experience in chemical, specialty chemical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, laboratory, pilot plant, or manufacturing facility environments preferred.

  • Experience with CAD tools and engineering analysis software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, FEA)Understanding of GD&T, machining tolerances, and tooling processes (e.g., CNC, lathe)
  • Ability to lead technical projects and influence outcomes across teams
  • Knowledge of manufacturing environments and plant operations
  • Familiarity with utilities systems (HVAC, steam, compressed air, piping, etc.) is a plus
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of industry standards and quality systems (e.g., ASTM, ASME)
