Job DescriptionResponsibilities for Senior level Mechanical Engineer:The successful candidate shall be able to work independently with minimal supervision for tasks as follows:
- Able to communicate directly with clients.
- Plan, conceptualize, and create HVAC mechanical designs for new and retrofit buildings/projects in the mission critical environment
- Duct design/piping design experience
- Central plant cooling design
- Perform typical HVAC engineering calculations to support design work
- Create technical drawings, plans, and specifications (using computer software)
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors
- Ensure project timelines are met and project stays within budget
- Able to travel to project sites
QualificationsQualifications for Mechanical Engineer- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- EIT/PE a plus
- 10+ years (min) of experience working for a design engineering firm including some Mission Critical (data center) design experience
- Firm grasp of engineering concepts including theoretical and practical applications for HVAC Systems
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge and familiarity in use of mechanical engineering software such as but not limited to heat loss/gain calcs, pipe-flo, CFD modeling, etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly to jr staff for project development
- Must be self-motivated and know project design steps/requirements

Salary TransparencyOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $106, 000 - $133,000 annually and does not include bonuses, overtime or other forms of compensation or benefits. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
