Full Job Description
About the role: We are expanding our marketing analytics function and leveling up what it can do, and this is the hands-on analytical seat on it. You will report to Analytics leadership and work alongside our data science and analytics team. Your job is the analysis: what each channel, campaign, and creative is really delivering, where businesses fall out of our funnel and why, and which spend brings us the kind of small business we can fund and grow with.

That last part is what makes this different from most marketing analyst roles. We are a lender, so a lead is not the finish line here. Your work runs through to whether that business got an offer, took it, and stayed with us, so you are measuring quality, not just volume.

We are a very AI-forward company and expect our analysts to work that way, leaning on modern AI and LLM tooling to make their analysis faster and sharper. We want high-performing people who see the whole picture and make everyone around them better.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the recurring read on paid performance across Meta, Google, TikTok, and email, down to campaign, ad set, and creative, and increasingly on cost per funded deal and return on ad spend rather than cost per lead alone.
  • Analyze the full acquisition funnel, from ad click through to funded deal. Find where we lose people, quantify what it costs, and say what should change.
  • Build the quality metrics, not just the volume ones, so we can tell a channel that sends a lot of businesses from one that sends fundable ones.
  • Design and read tests (creative, landing page, audience, geo holdouts) honestly, and be clear when a difference is a real effect versus a difference in who the channel reached.
  • Help shape and quality-check our marketing data foundation: the tagging, attribution, and data model, including reconciling spend and validating the joins between marketing activity, leads, and funded deals.
  • Build dashboards and reporting that marketing and executives genuinely run on, and present findings in plain language with a clear recommendation.

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • 4 to 7 years in marketing analytics, growth analytics, performance marketing, or digital media measurement.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (economics, statistics, mathematics, business or marketing analytics, computer science, or similar).
  • Strong SQL and working Python with pandas. You query the warehouse yourself and do the analysis in notebooks or scripts, not a pivot table.
  • Hands-on experience with paid digital platforms, Meta and Google Ads in particular, and practical fluency with UTM tagging and conversion tracking.
  • Web and product analytics experience (GA4 or comparable): event tracking and step-level funnel analysis.
  • Experiment literacy: you can design an A/B or geo test, read it honestly, and explain why a result might not mean what it appears to.
  • Real data-quality instinct. You reconcile before you report and flag a suspicious number rather than shipping it. Strong visualization and communication with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in lending, fintech, insurance, subscription, or another business with a long funnel and a qualification gate between the lead and the revenue (a strong plus).
  • Experience with dbt, cloud data environments (AWS), and modern AI tooling (LLMs, agents) on your own data (a plus)
