Full Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Engineer reporting to an Engineering Team Lead.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Support production in a mixed model assembly environment
  • Develop, implement, and improve assembly processes to meet cost, quality, and capacity requirements
  • Specify, procure, validate, and implement tools, fixtures, and equipment
  • Provide plant expertise in tool selection and error-proofing
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve operations
  • Apply DMAIC methodology to identify root cause and implement permanent solutions
  • Work closely with team leads and technicians to resolve problems
  • Develop and maintain standard work instructions
  • Implement engineering change notices
  • Achieve manufacturing engineering milestones for New Product Development programs


YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Required:


  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, or other technical 4-year degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Project management experience is required
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
  • AutoCAD knowledge is required
  • Experience with SAP is required
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
  • Willingness to travel (infrequently)
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities
  • Team player with excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Relocation support is not provided for this position. Candidates must be willing and able to relocate at their own expense.

PREFERRED:
  • Knowledge of General Logistics Management and Supply Chain is a plus
  • Experience with Katia is preferred
