About the RoleYou will be a senior technical role on Csquare's newest and most complex customer deployments - the person who ensures we don't repeat the same mistakes, that what we deliver matches what we designed, and that when something does go wrong, we know exactly how to get out of it.
You review deployment designs and technical requirements before commitment, verify as-built environments end to end, lead technical recovery when events occur on live customer sites, and turn every outcome into documented best practices that raise the bar for the next project. The role is electrically focused, with the potential to expand to liquid cooling over time.
Job Responsibilities Prevent- Review deployment design concepts before commitment: redundancy topology, breaker coordination, rack-to-RPP-to-PDU-to-UPS traceability, cooling capacity, and alarm coverage - flagging gaps that would become outages.
- Verify MOPs for complex deployments before execution, confirming each step preserves resiliency and results in no customer impact, and review SOPs and EOPs to ensure procedures are fit for purpose and documentation standards are upheld.
- Lead pre-energization verification: breaker position checks, labeling and striping confirmation, mapping audits, and punch list closure with vendors and site teams on the critical power path.
- Assist with bring-up of new complex customer deployments, ensuring Csquare bring-up monitoring requirements are defined, in place, and met as new load is brought online.
- Turn lessons from reviews and incidents into documented best practices, and mentor site teams on procedure adherence and switching discipline.
Verify- Confirm as-built environments match design, traced from beginning to end, with on-site audit support.
- Own the technical ramp-up protocol as new customer load comes online, confirming monitoring results at each load step before proceeding, in coordination with site and regional leadership.
Recover and Harden- Lead technical recovery after incidents: stabilize the affected scope, sequence restoration, set disturbance boundaries, and control the electrical-to-mechanical handoff with construction, operations, and vendor teams.
- Drive root cause analysis and confirm corrective actions are verified and closed.
Job Requirements- 5+ years in mission-critical infrastructure or data center operations, engineering, or commissioning, including time as a shift or project technical lead.
- Hands-on depth with UPS systems, STS, switchgear, generators, ATS, and medium- or high-voltage switching under written procedure.
- Working command of critical cooling (CRAH/CRAC, chilled water, liquid-cooled or high-density) and BMS/EPMS/DCIM platforms.
- Proven incident response, root cause analysis, and SOP/MOP/EOP review and execution in live customer environments.
- NFPA 70E qualified.
- Clear written communication for vendors, customers, and executives.
Preferred Skills/ Knowledge- Experience with high-density AI workloads and Tier III/IV-class multi-tenant colocation at 100 MW scale.
- Stationary engineer license or equivalent trade credentials.
