Your work will be hands-on and involve collaborating closely with Manufacturing, Assembly, and Production leaders to define hiring needs, influence process improvements and efficiencies, and set a high bar of talent and performance. To achieve this, you will be given the autonomy and tools to execute, build, and develop Anduril's world-class production team. We are looking for someone who can handle every aspect of manufacturing recruiting and talent mapping, excited to be part of a lean and nimble team on one mission together, where no task is too big or too small.

This is a full-time position. As a Senior Recruiting Manager, Manufacturing, you will manage a team of direct reports and partner with stakeholders across the business to build pipelines and strategies to scale our production facilities in alignment with our company culture and mission.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Manage a team of recruiters and managers to support scaling manufacturing engineering and operations needs
  • Own and drive the hiring strategy full-cycle for both exempt and non-exempt roles (from manufacturing/quality engineers and production supervisors to technicians)
  • Act as a subject matter expert in manufacturing talent landscapes, sourcing techniques, and tools used for information retrieval, market mapping, and candidate management
  • Partner with production floor leadership to forecast hiring capacity, manage shift-work staffing strategies, and optimize interview-to-hire velocity
  • Engage and source passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, specialized hardware/manufacturing networks, trade schools, military transition programs, and referral campaigns
  • Build talent maps to generate market insights to inform your engagement strategy within competitive hardware and aerospace hubs
  • Drive diverse talent into the organization, ensuring an efficient, respectful, and positive candidate experience for both hourly and salaried applicants
  • Represent the company's brand and manufacturing career paths internally and externally at the highest caliber
  • Leverage internal resources, teammates, and cross-functional partners to build strategy around selling Anduril's manufacturing value proposition and impacting production hiring practices
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of talent acquisition experience, with a proven track record of executing high-volume hiring for manufacturing environments
  • 8+ years of experience working with senior manufacturing leaders and production stakeholders, reporting on progress, and advising on talent strategies to scale various production sites
  • 5+ years of experience mentoring or managing a team of recruiters focused on the delivery of manufacturing and technical pipelines
  • Deep expertise in hiring across the manufacturing spectrum, including both hourly/skilled-trade roles (technicians, operators) and salaried roles (Manufacturing Engineers, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production Leadership)
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience building a manufacturing talent acquisition function from the ground up for a greenfield factory location or new facility launch
  • Knowledge of ITAR policies around manufacturing hiring practices
  • Understanding of manufacturing compensation structures, shift differentials, and local labor market dynamics for skilled trades
  • Experience acting in a consultative manner where your guidance has led to improved conversion rates, reduced time-to-hire on the production floor, and positive candidate experiences
  • Highly autonomous, collaborative, and adaptable to the fast-changing demands of a scaling production facility
