Full Job Description

Senior Manager, Supply Chain Site Support

Location: USA (Morristown, NJ; Portsmouth, NH; or Walkersville, MD ; Houston, TX; Vacaville, CA; Bend, OR). Eastern Time Zone preferred.

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Standard Business Hours / Global Flexibility Required).

Travel: Up to 30% domestic and international travel required to support various manufacturing sites.

We are seeking a high-caliber SAP and planning systems expert to join our team as the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Site Support. Reporting to the Director, Global Supply Chain Group Lead, this role is a hybrid position that can sit at any of our primary U.S. offices, with a strong preference for East Coast hub sites. In this critical, high-impact role, you will act as the principal architect for site-level supply chain stabilization and process harmonization across all U.S. Divisions and Business Units. Operating with broad direction and procedural autonomy, you will conduct rigorous gap analyses, design corrective action plans, resolve site-specific systemic bottlenecks, and spearhead on-site and remote training frameworks. Specifically, you will champion the end-to-end execution of our Global Blueprint Certification Program to systematically prepare our operational sites to achieve Class A MRP II operational excellence.

What will you get:

  • An agile career and dynamic working culture.

  • An inclusive and ethical workplace.

  • SME Process Authority: Own the deployment, standardization, and long-term sustainability of end-to-end SAP Supply Chain execution models across multiple major manufacturing sites.

  • Global Blueprint Ownership: Drive high-visibility readiness projects that directly transition sites to elite, world-class MRP II Class A performance levels.

  • Compensation programs that recognize high performance.

  • Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as PTO and more.

What you will do:

  • End-to-End SAP Execution Support: Serve as the definitive Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP "Plan-to-Make" processes, bridging transactional system execution with physical floor actions (including master data, process orders, MRP run configurations, purchase orders, and warehouse/material movements).

  • Site Process Stabilization: Assess global supply chain processes across multiple sites and divisions; establish formal gap analyses and deploy execution-focused action plans to remediate operational issues and clear audit findings.

  • Blueprint & MRP II Certification: Directly partner with site operations and leadership teams to drive the SC E2E Execution Blueprint Certification Program, helping sites address process gaps, establish sustainability matrices, and clear compliance milestones.

  • Systems & Process Standardization: Write, align, and implement robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Policies, and Work Instructions (WIs) to establish deep operational standardization.

  • SME Training & Coaching: Develop and deliver interactive training modules, serving as a proactive coach for site super-users, planners, and logistics leads to expand overall system proficiency.

  • Cross-Functional IT & Business Liaison: Act as the primary strategic interface between site supply chain teams, finance departments, and Global IT to log, troubleshoot, and resolve critical SAP issues.

  • Stakeholder Alignment & Influence: Partner closely with site leadership and multi-cultural operational teams to influence process execution, align objectives, and resolve conflicting constraints without direct line authority.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience: 10+ years of advanced, hands-on experience in multiple supply chain roles (planning, execution, warehouse, and logistics management) within a regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences manufacturing site environment.

  • SAP Mastery: High-tier, comprehensive SAP subject matter expertise across planning and warehouse modules is absolutely essential. You must possess the demonstrated ability to actively teach, troubleshoot, and translate complex SAP transactions for all levels.

  • Certifications: APICS CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management) professional standard mastery is required. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desired.

  • Strategic Change Management: Highly exceptional communication and presentation capabilities; proven ability to lead up, influence across hierarchical levels, and drive execution within a complex matrix structure.

  • Conflict Resolution & Project Delivery: Proven capacity to manage multiple complex, multi-site projects simultaneously while remaining self-directed and highly collaborative.

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree is required. A Master's Degree in a technical or business discipline is preferred.
