About This Role:

As a Senior Manager of Software Engineering, you will serve as both a technical and people leader, overseeing a team of engineers and a portfolio of web-based applications that enable EHR integration and support critical operational workflows as iRhythm continues to scale its ECG analysis services. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a talented team while driving operational excellence across a complex product suite within the regulated medical device space, supporting both U.S. and international markets.

Responsibilities include:
  • Lead full-stack technical strategy and architecture, spanning front end, back end, data, and integrations.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing engineering team, with a focus on talent growth, team health, and sustained impact.
  • Collaborate closely with product and UX to shape product vision, features, and roadmaps.
  • Partner cross-functionally with technical project managers, software QA, quality engineers, regulatory specialists, and key stakeholders to drive alignment and ensure consistent, on-time execution of project plans.
  • Ensure delivery of secure, reliable, and maintainable software by driving excellence in quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead deployment planning and execution across lower and production environments, minimizing user impact and ensuring predictable outcomes.
  • Own production support activities, including incident response, issue resolution, root cause and impact analysis, and driving corrective and preventive actions.
  • Help define and continuously enhance development processes, methodologies, and tooling.


About You:
  • 10+ years software engineering experience.
  • 4+ years experience managing software engineering teams.
  • Proven experience leading teams delivering production critical software.
  • Excellent leadership, motivational, and collaboration abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience developing Angular web applications and Java web services. Experience with AWS, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL preferred.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment preferred.
  • Experience with order & result HL7 integration a plus.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Actual compensation may vary depending on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.

Estimated Pay Range
$166,000.00 - $216,000.00
