Position Summary
The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at WashU School of Medicine is seeking a Senior Manager, Social Services Program to provide clinical and operational leadership for CONNECT's psychosocial service line, including Adolescent Dialectical Behavior Therapy (ADBT), Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), caregiver programming, and other specialized behavioral health services for adolescents and families.

This position provides both direct clinical services and leadership for psychosocial programming across CONNECT. The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary clinical and medical teams to support implementation of evidence-based practices, staff development, quality improvement initiatives, program evaluation, workforce development, and strategic growth of services.

The Senior Manager serves as a clinical leader, supervisor, trainer, and program manager, ensuring high-quality service delivery while supporting operational excellence and long-term sustainability of CONNECT programs. The position will play a critical role in maintaining and advancing ADBT and CAMS services following the departure of the program's current clinical lead and will help ensure continued fidelity, training, supervision, consultation, and implementation of these evidence-based models.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Clinical Services:

• Provide direct clinical services to adolescents and families through ADBT, CAMS, and other evidence-based interventions.
• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, and risk management.
• Maintain a clinical caseload consistent with program needs and leadership responsibilities.
• Collaborate with families, schools, medical providers, and community partners to support comprehensive care.
• Participate in ADBT consultation team meetings and interdisciplinary case discussions.
• Complete clinical documentation and related administrative requirements in a timely manner.
• Provide consultation regarding complex clinical presentations, suicidality, self-injury, trauma, and emotion dysregulation.

Leadership, Program Management, and Workforce Development:

• Provide leadership and oversight for psychosocial services within CONNECT.
• Supervise, mentor, and support therapists, trainees, and other psychosocial staff.
• Lead implementation, training, consultation, supervision, and fidelity monitoring efforts related to ADBT, CAMS, and other evidence-based practices, with particular emphasis on maintaining and advancing the Division's ADBT programming.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, professional development, and retention of psychosocial staff.
• Collaborate with division and departmental leadership on strategic planning, program development, and service expansion.
• Lead quality improvement, program evaluation, and outcome-monitoring initiatives.
• Utilize program data and metrics to support continuous improvement and decision-making.
• Support development and dissemination of innovative behavioral health programming.
• Coordinate psychosocial services across CONNECT programs including ADBT, CAMS, caregiver programming, trauma-focused services, case management, and related initiatives.
• Partner with medical leadership, administrative staff, and operational teams to ensure efficient program functioning.
• Support learner and trainee education consistent with the academic mission of WashU School of Medicine.
• Assist with implementation of donor-funded initiatives and strategic priorities associated with CONNECT's endowed and philanthropic gifts.
• Maintain awareness of current research and best practices and integrate emerging evidence into program development and clinical care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range
$77,700.00 - $120,400.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
