Full Job Description
Responsibilities: Participate in the execution of audit engagements for clients, including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants. Perform risk assessment analysis, internal control audit program development, and related testing utilizing Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) Audit Standard No. 5. Analyze technical accounting issues, including goodwill and long-lived asset impairment and revenue recognition. Auditing accounting estimates in accordance with PCAOB AS 2501. Review audit working papers to identify compliance with current U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and PCAOB prescriptions. Review SEC filings and research technical accounting issues.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)

LICENSE REQUIREMENT:

CPA license required.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:

Up to 10% travel to various domestic locations per business need.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field plus seven (7) years of experience in the offered position or a related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a master's degree plus three (3) years of experience. Three (3) years of experience must include: Auditing accounting estimates in accordance with PCAOB 2501 and ASC Topic 326; reviewing, collecting, and analyzing data to detect deficient controls, fraud or noncompliance with SOX Act Section 404; evaluating internal control findings for purposes of reporting in accordance with SAS No. 114; SEC audit requirements; COSO framework; U.S. GAAP; and U.S. GAAS. Telecommuting may be permitted within commutable distance from the office location depending on business need.

SALARY RANGE : $152,152 to $240,400 peryear
