About the role:
The Endoscopy Project Management Office (PMO) is seeking an experienced, dynamic and strategic project management professional to drive critical programs for the Endoscopy division and deliver best-in-class medical devices to patients and clinicians in support of Boston Scientific's mission.
As the Senior Manager, Project Management, you will lead medium- to large-scale cross-functional and cross-site teams responsible for developing and launching innovative products aligned with the Endoscopy franchise strategy. You will build strong partnerships with project teams and key stakeholders, including the Franchise Leadership Team, Cross-functional Management and the Project Investment Board (PIB), to drive execution, maintain alignment, proactively manage risks and evolve project strategy to achieve business objectives while balancing scope, schedule and budget.
This highly visible role requires close collaboration across functions and Boston Scientific sites to successfully lead new product development programs. Success in this position requires exceptional relationship-building skills, strong strategic thinking and a solid understanding of the product development process.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local Marlborough, MA least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead medium- to large-scale cross-functional product development teams and provide input to functional managers regarding team and individual performance.
• Manage project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closeout activities while fostering team ownership and accountability for project success.
• Identify, assess and communicate moderate to high levels of technical and business risk, developing mitigation strategies to support successful project execution.
• Identify project resource requirements and develop and manage project budgets, resource plans, schedules and financial models.
• Prioritize, delegate and coordinate project activities to ensure timely execution of deliverables while managing project dependencies and critical path activities.
• Drive resolution of project challenges by collaborating with project teams, business stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
• Serve as the primary liaison between project teams and leadership, including the Franchise Leadership Team and Project Investment Board, providing clear and timely communications, project reviews, meeting documentation, issue tracking and performance metrics.
• Partner across functions, regions and business teams to successfully achieve project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Boston Scientific policies, procedures and documentation requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead project post-mortem reviews and share lessons learned and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across the PMO to strengthen project management capabilities, share best practices and mentor less experienced project managers.
Required qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience leading cross-functional teams, including project management responsibilities.
• Deep knowledge of the Product Lifecycle Process (PLCP).
• Demonstrated success leading large, complex cross-functional projects and programs.
• Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration and emotional intelligence skills with strong situational leadership capabilities.
• Strong planning, influencing, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project.
• Experience within the medical device industry.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Preferred qualifications:
• Master's degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.
• Experience leading complex new product development programs within a highly regulated environment.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and drive alignment across global, matrixed organizations.
