Job Description:

Senior Manager, Programs to join our vibrant community. This role plays a critical part in supporting the delivery of the Professional Writing Labs (PWL) program and the division's recording programs, helping to ensure that students, faculty, and staff have the resources they need to thrive creatively.

Key Responsibilities

Professional Writing Labs Management (65%)
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of PWL, including session scheduling, staffing, budget tracking, and space/technology management.
  • Hire, train, and supervise approximately 12 student employees across writing support and recording/engineering roles.
  • Develop processes for students to deliver recorded session assets efficiently and accurately.
  • Schedule and assign student performers for recordings, ensuring smooth execution of projects.
  • Communicate with student writers to manage scheduling, submissions, and performance coverage.
  • Track and report student performer hours and payments to supervisors.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with department chairs to coordinate curricular support and meet program goals.

Recording Program Oversight
  • Manage the division's recording programs, including Screen Scoring Program sessions, The Record Company, CWP sessions, and other concerts or recordings on and off campus.
  • Coordinate with Chairs, Faculty, Staff, and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of programs.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Proven experience managing programs, budgets, and staff, preferably in an academic or arts setting.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with scheduling and coordinating recording sessions or similar projects.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships across departments and with student participants.
  • Commitment to a hybrid work schedule with flexibility for in-person responsibilities.
