Overview

The Senior Manager, Professional Services leads the Project Management Office withinsymplrsServices organization and is accountable for the performance, maturity, and strategic direction of the project management discipline. This role oversees a portfolio of complex customer programs, drives delivery excellence through standards and governance, and partners with senior leaders across Product, Services, and Customer Success to ensure predictable, highquality execution.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee delivery performance across the Services portfolio, ensuring consistent, highquality execution and strong customer outcomes across multiple product lines
  • Provide seniorlevelguidance, coaching, and escalation support to Project Managers navigating complex client scenarios andhighvisibilityengagements
  • Partner with senior leaders across symplr to align delivery expectations, improve crossteamworkflows, and strengthenendtoendcustomer experience
  • Own the evolution of PMO standards, delivery methodologies, and governance frameworks to improve predictability, efficiency, and scalability
  • Define, monitor, and report on PMO KPIs including utilization, revenue performance, resource allocation, and project cycle times, using insights to drive operational improvement
  • Build a highperformingPMO through structured coaching, career development, and performance management
  • Provide guidance and feedback to encourage and promote team members success and growth through regular developmental conversations
  • Serve as the primary advocate for PMO practices and governance, ensuring adoption and alignment across the Services organization
  • Contribute to and influence strategic initiatives that shape Services operations, delivery models, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead, monitor, and communicate strategic initiatives to the team and key stakeholders

Skills Required
  • Hold a bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Bring seven or more years of experience in project or program management within enterprise software or services organizations, including three or more years leading people or project teams
  • Demonstrate expertise in project delivery, portfolio oversight, and PMO governance within a matrixed, fastpaced environment
  • Show advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to support forecasting, reporting, and operational analysis
  • Apply strong leadership, communication, and stakeholdermanagement skills to influence outcomes across technical and nontechnical teams
  • Use advanced analytical and criticalthinking skills to diagnose delivery challenges, interpret performance data, and drive operational improvements
  • Navigate conflict, escalations, and complex customer situations with confidence and sound judgment
  • Influence and guide customers and internal stakeholders at all levels with clarity, professionalism, and strategic insight

DesiredSkills and Qualifications:

  • Exposure to AIenabled tools or platforms used in project management, resource planning, forecasting, or delivery optimization
