Full Job Description
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive Product Creation: Own the process from concept to launch as the voice of the product through lifecycle. You will manage timelines, execution, and day-to-day activities, ensuring everything aligns with our category vision.
  • Be the Voice of the Market: Understand golfers, the competition, and the latest trends. You will dive deep into market dynamics, staying ahead of the curve to ensure our products are always one step ahead.
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Partner with R&D, Industrial Design, and other cross-functional teams to bring visionary products to life. You will translate golfer insights into product briefs that inspire technical innovation and ensure the final product delivers performance that golfers can feel on the course.
  • Shape the Story: Work with the GTM team to craft compelling stories for each product-from naming to consumer messaging, ignites excitement and drives go-to-market success.
  • Maintain Strategic Product Roadmap: Lead the development and ongoing management of long-range product roadmaps that define the future of your categories. Ensure each milestone within the 5-year plan is thoughtfully aligned with Callaway's overarching business strategy to drive sustained revenue growth. Continuously monitor market performance throughout the product lifecycle, making data-informed adjustments to optimize results and uphold the category.
  • Influence Pricing & Positioning: Help define pricing and product positioning strategies across the lifecycle, collaborating with key stakeholders to maximize impact on the market and achieve financial goals.
  • Guide Product Briefs: Craft clear, insight-driven product briefs that inspire innovation within R&D and serve as the foundation for technical development. Collaborate with Marketing to develop go-to-market briefs that ensure alignment across global teams and drive successful product launches. Curate and oversee the development of visual tools such as mood boards and concept inspiration decks for executive review, ensuring strategic alignment throughout the product creation cadence.
  • Global Synergy: Ensure the product category strategy, positioning, and pricing are consistent across regions and markets, delivering a unified global experience.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use sales, SKU, and market data to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement, ensuring our products exceed market expectations.
  • Support Launch Excellence: Drive internal excitement and knowledge by presenting at training sessions, product launches, and key meetings. You will bring product stories to life, energizing teams and ensuring seamless launches.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) examples:
    • Revenue growth across Woods, Irons, and Wedge categories
    • Increased market share in key regions and demographics
    • Innovation score improvement in GPAU studies
    • Strong Net Promoter Scores (NPS) reflecting enhanced golfer satisfaction.
