Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As the Senior Manager - Product Owner, Agentic Investigation Capability, you will own the business-product strategy, roadmap and outcomes for an emerging agentic capability that supports financial-crime investigation (automating evidence gathering, enrichment, analysis and drafting). You will shape how this capability operates under governed configuration and always in support of, and subordinate to, accountable human decision-making. They must combine strong product ownership with a deep appreciation for the governance, risk and regulatory realities of financial crime, working across FIU, Borealis, AML IT, FCAML Data Management and model-risk partners to deliver a capability that strengthens investigative outcomes without ever replacing human judgment.

What will you do?
  • Define the product vision, roadmap and prioritized backlog for the agentic capability, sequencing automated capabilities against investigative risk and value.
  • Own the business definition of each automated capability - what it is for, what it consumes, what it produces, and the conditions under which it defers to a human.
  • Ensure automated activity runs against governed configuration under proper change control, and that all activity is captured in the investigative system of record.
  • Ensure automated output meets the quality and evidence standards required for regulatory defensibility.
  • Define the acceptance criteria and measures of capability quality and investigator enablement that guide continuous improvement, and act as the empowered decision-maker on what is released.
  • Maintain a clear boundary between automated support and accountable human judgment and feed outputs into established feedback loops.
  • Partner with investigators and their leadership across all financial-crime functions to ground the capability in real investigative needs and drive adoption.
  • Coordinate with Investigation Platform and Investigative Analytics product owners so the capability composes with existing tools rather than duplicating them.
  • Partner with EMRM, AML IT, Borealis and Data Management on delivery, validation and ongoing monitoring.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, finance or a related field.
  • Proven product ownership / product management experience, ideally delivering data, analytics or AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of financial-crime investigations (AML, fraud, sanctions or related disciplines) and the associated regulatory environment.
  • Experience delivering capabilities in a governed, regulated environment, including working with control, risk and assurance functions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to translate complex investigative needs into a clear product roadmap.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities, with strong storytelling, influence and technical literacy (deep technical expertise not required).

Nice-to-have
  • Experience with AI/ML or agentic/automation technologies and their governance.
  • Familiarity with Model Risk Management processes (validation, monitoring, revalidation).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, product/agile certifications).
  • Experience working with auditors, regulators and second/third-line functions.

What's in it for you?

We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper. We care about each other, reaching our potential, making a difference to our communities, and achieving success that is mutual.
  • A comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses and flexible benefits, competitive compensation, commissions, and stock where applicable
  • Leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities
  • Ability to make a difference and lasting impact
  • Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team
  • A world-class training program in financial services
  • Opportunities to do challenging work
