Annual Salary: $158,000.00 - $187,500.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to be responsible for defining and delivering innovative, deeply integrated solutions enabling large healthcare clients to optimize revenue cycle performance and patient engagement by leading and developing the Commerce Payments Healthcare Product team.
Essential Functions
Define and help execute the product and integration strategy for the healthcare vertical, with a focus on embedding Commerce Bank solutions into client ecosystems
Identify and execute opportunities to integrate with core healthcare platforms, including: Electronic Health Records (EHRs), Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) systems, and Patient engagement platforms
Translate strategy into a clear, actionable roadmaps that prioritize product capabilities, integration, depth, and profitability
Define and deliver capabilities that enable: seamless payment acceptance within patient and provider workflows, integrated billing, reconciliation, and reporting across RCM systems, and embedded patient financing and payment plan options within digital and point-of-service experiences
Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to drive delivery of scalable, secure, and interoperable solutions
Engage directly with large healthcare clients, technology partners, and platform providers to: understand integration needs and workflow challenges and validate solution design and usability
Partner with Sales, Account Management, and Product teams to support go-to-market execution and client adoption of healthcare solutions
Communicate strategy, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership through proactive reporting and communications
Support investment prioritization for integration and platform capabilities
Lead, mentor and motivate team members to implement the department strategy and manage department workflow with guidance on departmental projects/issues, and provide coaching and development opportunities appropriate to each direct report's individual needs
Perform all necessary management functions, including hiring, evaluations, annual increase allocations and disciplinary action as required
Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant information to team members effectively
Support budget management, planning and expenditure
Perform other duties as assigned

Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations, patient financial experience and engagement, and payments and financial workflows within healthcare ecosystems, including knowledge of best practices
Ability to maintain an in-depth knowledge of pain points within the healthcare industry and revenue cycle management
Proven track record of driving execution and delivering measurable business outcomes
Ability to translate complex client environments into practical, scalable integration strategies
Strong leadership and influencing skills across cross-functional teams
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to apply discretion and sound judgement to efficiently and effectively solve problems
Ability to drive results and balance management of organizational risk and meeting goals of the business
Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate team members and foster a positive team environment that gives way to collaboration and unified goals
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company, clearly expressing ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing

Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Technology, a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
8+ years of experience in product management, healthcare payments, revenue cycle, or related areas required
3+ years experience with integrated or embedded financial or technology solutions required
4+ years of leadership or significant cross-functional leadership experience required
Experience working with healthcare providers, EHR/RCM vendors, or fintech platforms strongly preferred

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $158,000 to $187,500 annually. This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
