Full Job Description

Why this role

As Senior Manager of Performance Marketing, you'll own Evolve's paid acquisition program end-to-end - the channel mix, the budget, the campaigns, the creative strategy, and the agency relationships - against a monthly qualified-lead target and a cost per qualified lead. You'll decide where an eight-figure annual media budget goes, and you'll be in the platforms making those decisions yourself. The timing matters; We're winding down a search agency contract and bringing that work in-house, which means you'll be rebuilding the program rather than inheriting a finished one. We're also opening channels Evolve has never run - so a meaningful part of the first year is zero-to-one work.
This is a senior individual-contributor role on a small, flat, high-ownership team. You'll lead through evidence and influence rather than headcount.
The team

Growth owns Evolve's owner-acquisition funnel from first impression to a signed agreement, across five programs: Attract, Convert, Launch, Nurture, and Foundations. This role owns Attract. It's a small team by design, which means less process, more surface area, and a direct line from your decisions to the company's number.

What you'll do
  • Channel Strategy & Budget
    • Own paid channel mix and in-month allocation across paid search, paid social, programmatic, direct mail, AI search surfaces, and new test channels - strategy, campaign structure, bidding, budgets, pacing, and performance
    • Monitor qualified-lead delivery against plan and forecast, diagnose what's driving it, and decide where the next dollar is most likely to generate efficient volume
    • Own the monthly spend and volume inputs to the marketing forecast, and re-plan in-month when delivery moves
  • Hands-On Campaign Management
    • Be hands-on in the platforms. Google Ads and Meta are yours to build and optimize directly, not to review in a weekly deck
    • Build audience strategy across prospecting, retargeting, customer lists, lookalikes, and Evolve's own first-party data on properties, permits, and owners
    • Design and analyze structured tests across audience, creative, bidding, placement, geography, and landing destination
  • New Channels & Creative
    • Launch new channels from zero to one - Performance Max, connected TV, podcast, and an expanded direct mail program - with a plan for how each will be measured before it spends
    • Develop paid creative strategy with our creative partners: messaging, format, testing frameworks, and the analysis that decides what scales and what gets cut
  • Measurement & Partnership
    • Help us build a real read on instrumentality and on the offline channels we currently can't see, and partner on the attribution work behind it
    • Partner with analytics, product, and sales on the full funnel from impression to signed agreement

What makes you a great fit
  • 7+ years in performance marketing or digital media buying, with hands-on ownership of paid search and paid social campaigns
  • Proven experience owning and scaling paid acquisition against CAC, CPA, cost-per-qualified-lead or profitability goals at eight-figure annual media spend
  • Deep platform expertise in Google Ads and/or Meta - campaign structure, bidding, budget pacing, audience management, creative testing, and optimization
  • Experience setting strategy for an external media agency and holding it accountable on execution, including transitioning work in-house
  • Ownership of forecasting - the monthly spend and volume inputs to a marketing plan, and the judgment to re-plan mid-month when delivery moves
  • Strong analytical skills - you're comfortable in SQL and a product analytics tool, you interpret channel and funnel data yourself, and you make investment decisions
  • Experience developing or executing paid creative strategy - messaging, format, testing, and analysis - in partnership with creative teams or agencies
  • AI-native working style - you already use tools like Claude for analysis, creative iteration, and reporting; this is a baseline here, not a differentiator
